The highly repetitive and intelligent work of quality inspection can only be done by manual inspection in the past. Generally, bottle inspection (automatic identification) first uses high-definition, high-speed camera lens to take standard images, and sets certain standards on this basis; then takes the detected images, and then compares the two. But it is more complicated in the bottle quality inspection project:

1. The content of the image is not a single image, and the shape, impurities, size, color, and position of each measured bottle are not necessarily consistent.
2. Details such as the shape of the bottle are difficult to determine.
3. There may be a lot of noise in the image due to light reflections from the fast motion of the bottle.
4. On the assembly line, there are real-time requirements for the detection of bottles.

Due to the above reasons, corresponding algorithms should be adopted in image recognition processing to extract the characteristics of the bottle, perform pattern recognition, and realize intelligent analysis.

The visual industrial computer plays the role of the brain core and commander in the visual inspection. The industrial computer on the shelf performs data collection analysis, conclusions, instructions, result statistics and storage, etc.
