IPC concept

Industrial touch all-in-one machine is the abbreviation of industrial control computer. It is a general term for tools that use bus structure to detect and control the production process, electromechanical equipment, and process equipment.

1. External structure
All-steel chassis: Due to the particularity of the working environment of the industrial computer, most of them work in high temperature, low temperature, high pressure, low pressure, dusty and other environments, so most of the materials are aluminum alloy and steel plate structure.

2. Internal structure
①Passive backplane: The slot of the passive backplane is composed of multiple slots of ISA and PCI bus. The board has a 4-layer structure, and the middle two layers are the ground layer and the power layer, which can reduce external interference. Many other boards can be expanded on the passive backplane.
②Industrial power supply: Most industrial computers use ATX power supply, and the operating time can reach 250,000 hours, which provides reliable conditions for industrial production.
③Industrial computer CPU: CPU is divided into two major manufacturers, Intel and AMD. Due to the high power consumption and high heat generation of AMD CPU, the industrial control industry is mainly based on Intel CPU.
④Industrial computer memory: It is used to temporarily store the calculation data in the CPU and the data exchanged with the external memory such as the hard disk. It is composed of memory chips, circuit boards, gold fingers and other parts.
⑤ Industrial computer hard disk: hard disk is mainly divided into mechanical hard disk and solid state hard disk.

Features of industrial computer

1. The security of data is high, and industrial computers are usually specially designed for reinforcement, dustproof, moisture-proof, corrosion-proof, and radiation-proof;
2. Fanless heat dissipation system design, this design method has the ability to resist dust, smoke, signal and other interference;
3. Shield the interference of the external environment, and have strong expandability. The CPU and expansion board are inserted into the special slot on the larger motherboard with expansion slots, so that the host can work more reliably without considering space issues.
4. Strong impact resistance, able to work in various special situations.
5. A variety of industrial control protocols and rich I/O interfaces ensure the connection and stable operation of the following industrial equipment.
6. To adapt to various temperature and humidity environments, some industrial computer should be designed to work stably in an environment with relatively high humidity.
7. Strong anti-interference ability, the industrial environment is complex and changeable, mixed with a lot of interfering noise, it needs excellent shielding and anti-interference ability to ensure stable operation.
8. Extremely stable, it can solve unexpected situations such as computer program freezing or power failure by itself, ensuring the validity and integrity of data.
